THE NEW AMBASSADOR OF LITHUANIA TO THE NETHERLANDS PRESENTS THE LETTERS OF CREDENCE

On the 28th of November, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands has presented to Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands the letters of credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

D.Semaška is the fourth Ambassador of Lithuania to the Netherlands after Lithuania has restored its independence.

In 2008, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix has paid a state visit to Lithuania.

Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and the Netherlands were reestablished in 1991.
