Seminar promoting business opportunities in the Baltic states

On the 25th of May a seminar „Business opportunities in the Baltic States“ was held in the Hague.
The event was initiated by The Hague Chamber of Commerce and devoted to promotion and analysis of business opportunities and perspectives in the Baltic region. Over fifty companies interested in doing business in the Baltic countries participated in the seminar, as well as diplomatic representatives responsible for economic affairs. A spokesman of the Dutch Rabobank presented a comparative analysis of the
economics of the Baltic countries after which participants shared their experience and discussed opportunities, difficulties and perspectives of doing business in the Baltic region. It was stressed that presently it is difficult to plan big investments to Lithuania. Although there is a possibility to attract smaller investments to specific business niches with the help of domestic agencies.
