PHOTO EXHIBITION OF WORKS OF LITHUANIAN ARTISTS IN GOES

The Foundation of the sister cities Goes and Panevezys extends an invitation to attend the official opening of the photo exhibition of works of 13 photographers from Lithuania.On Wednesday, the 3rd of June 2009 at 09:30, the official opening of the exhibition will be performed by the mayor of Goes, D.J. van der Zaag. Works of artists from Panevezys will be on display in the Stadskantoor (M.A. de Ruijterlaan 2) of Goes in the month of June.
Each author is a unique individual, using a unique approach, attitude,concept and forms that are transferred through light and color.Last year these works were on display in an unusual place in Panevezys, namely on the display windows of supermarkets. The exhibition was on display not only in Panevezys, but also in Vilnius, Warsaw (Poland), Liepaja (Latvia), Lunen (Germany), Kaliningrad (Russia), Heminge (Denmark) and Lublin (Poland).
Cooperation between the city of Goes and the Lithuanian municipality of Panevezys was established in 1993.
