LTart.NL TO TAKE PLACE IN AMSTERDAM
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania and the Dutch Lithuanian Community kindly invite to attend aLTart.NL art eventon the 26th of November 2011at Tobacco Theaterat Nes 75-87, 1012KD, AmsterdamStart time: 15:00 hoursLTart.NL is a project aiming at presenting art created by the Lithuanian artists living in the Netherlands. The visitors of the event will have an opportunity to enjoy a unique mixture of intertwined Lithuanian and Dutch cultures reflected in the works of art of young and talented artists.
This event, which is taking place in the Netherlands for the second time, encompasses paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics and jewelry works. Visitors will also have an opportunity to enjoy a live music performance, to take a glimpse of Lithuanian history depicted in the photography work “Memorial for a Monument” of a prominent Lithuanian photographer Rimantas Dichavičius, to witness episodes from the life of a renowned composer and percussionist Arkadijus Gotesmanas, and to get acquainted with Lithuanian traditional cuisine kindly presented by “Marceliukės klėtis” – a revived country-style restaurant and catering company that is famous for its authentic spirit and delicious national cuisine. Entrance is free of charge.
