Lithuanian poet Marius Burokas takes part in European Literature Night 2018
On 16 May, at the invitation of Lithuanian Cultural Centre (Litouws Cultureel Centrum) and the Embassy of Lithuania, renowned Lithuanian poet, writer, translator and editor-in-chief of the “Vilnius Review” Marius Burokas will take part in European Literature Night in Amsterdam
This year's theme of the European Literature Night is "What time is it?" The evening will be moderated by Guido Snel, writer and lecturer in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam.
Together with Marius Burokas, 11 European writers will join the discussion: Mustafa Kör (Flanders), Kostas Gouliamos (Cyprus), Murat Işik (Turkey), Jan Carson (United Kingdom), Marije Langelaar (Netherlands), Elmar Kuiper (Friesland), Giorgio Montefoschi (Italy), Dana Grigorcea (Switzerland), Jaroslav Rudiš (Czech Republic), Svealena Kutschke (Germany), Robert G. Elekes (Romania).
