Lithuanian commander hands over command of NATO navy group to the Dutch commander

On January 22, 2015 an official ceremony of the Change of Command of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 (SNMCMG1) took place. Commander Giedrius Premeneckas of the Lithuanian Navy handovered command to Commander Peter Bergen Henegouwen of the Netherlands Royal Navy. Giedrius Premeneckas was the first Lithuanian officer to lead NATO military unit.
