HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM DRUSKININKAI VISITED THE EMBASSY OF LITHUANIA TO THE NETHERLANDS
On the 8th of July high school students from Druskininkai visited the Embassy of Lithuania to the Netherlands. The Ambassador Mr. Vaidotas Verba described to the visitors from Lithuania the tasks and activities of the Embassy and introduced the main goals of international organizations situated in The Hague.
The guests had an opportunity to ask various questions, that were answered by the Ambassador. After an exchange of impressions about the Netherlands and the Dutch, students introduced an international youth exchange programme. This year youth from twin towns from Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and Lithuania met in a Dutch town of Kampen. After a short visit to the Embassy the guests from Druskininkai continued their one day long trip to the Hague.
