GLEE ENSEMBLE “TRYS KETURIOSE” IN AMSTERDAM

On Sunday, the 20th of May, a performance of the Lithuanian glee singers “Trys Keturiose” will take place in the Tropentheater in Amsterdam. Lithuanian polyphonic sutartinè songs have a unique feel: unruly and unpolished, they impress with their solemn, beseeching tone. These traditional 16th century songs are performed as part of a sedate choreography by four Lithuanian singers.
