EASTERN PARTNERSHIP BUSINESS FORUM: BUSINESS WITHOUT BORDERS
The Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the European Investment Bank (EIB), in cooperation with the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, are pleased to announce that the 2nd Eastern Partnership Business Forum will be held on 28 November 2013 in Vilnius.
The event will enhance cooperation and ties between the business communities and governments. It will be an opportunity for debate among different stakeholders on further enhancement of trade, foreign direct investments, financing of SMEs, development of local infrastructure and transport with a particular focus to the new opportunities provided by the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas. During the Forum, 4 thematic panels are foreseen:
- New opportunities for business;
- Sound infrastructure for business success;
- Untapping SMEs’ full potential;
- Connecting East and West.
Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, Algirdas Butkevičius, Prime Minister of Lithuania, Werner Hoyer, President of the EIB, Karel de Gucht, EU Commissioner for Trade and other high-level guests are expected to address the Forum.
Simultaneous interpretation into English and Russian will be provided.
