COMMEMORATION OF LITHUANIA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Lithuanian-Dutch Society together with Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Hague invites you to a concert commemorating Lithuania’s Independence day. The concert will take place on Sunday, 15th February 2009 from 14.00-17.00 at Desmet Studio’s Plantage (Middenlaan 4a, 1018 DD Amsterdam).

Concert by a non-traditional folk group “Kitava”

“Kitava” was established in 2001 in Šiauliai University and consists of seven members. The group interprets Lithuanian folk music in a non-traditional way by combining it with elements of rock, blues, jazz and pop music.
