Commemoration of All Souls' Day

The Embassy of Lithuania in the Netherlands on November 2, 2014 invited the citizens of Lithuania to continue the tradition of respectful commemoration of All Souls' Day. Representatives of the Embassy together with Monsignor Žydrūnas Vabuolas and Lithuanians living in the Netherlands paid tribute to Jan Zwartendijk (1896-1976) when visiting his grave in Roterdam. Afterwards a memorial square of Jan Zwartendijk was visited. The same afternoon Lithuanians gathered at the Urbanuskerk church where Monsignor Žydrūnas Vabuolas held the Mass.
