Commemoration of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day

The Embassy of Lithuania in the Netherlands on November 1, 2015 invited the citizens of Lithuania to continue the tradition of respectful commemoration of All Saints' and All Souls' Days. Representatives of the Embassy paid tribute to Jan Zwartendijk (1896-1976) when visiting his grave in Roterdam. Jan Zwartendijk was a consul of the Netherlands in Lithuaniain in 1940 and helped to save 3000 jews.
