Head of Lithuania's diplomacy Landsbergis to meet with the U.S. Secretary of State in Washington, D.C.
On 5-7 March, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis will be visiting Washington, D.C.
Landsbergis will meet with the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and participate in the Lithuanian-U.S. Strategic Dialogue's consultations on opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region with the White House National Security Council Coordinator Kurt Campbell.
The meeting with the Secretary of State will focus on regional and energy security issues and continued assistance to Ukraine. Ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius, it is crucial to present to strategic partners the position of Lithuania and like-minded people on the possible outcomes of the Summit.
The Strategic Dialogue on the Indo-Pacific aims at strengthening cooperation.
It will be the third meeting of the Foreign Minister and the Secretary of State Blinken and the second meeting of the Strategic Dialogue on the Indo-Pacific with Campbell.
The last time Blinken visited Lithuania was precisely a year ago, on 7 March 2022.
